Description:

Examines ways to assess and develop reading, writing, and the language arts in primary grade classrooms. Addresses instructional strategies and practices that promote language and literacy development in culturally, linguistically, socio-economically, and ability diverse children. Offered by School of Education. May not be repeated for credit.
Registration Restrictions:

Required Prerequisites: ((ECED 401C, 401XS, 501B- or 501XS) and (ECED 402C, 402XS, 502B- or 502XS) and (ECED 403C, 403XS, 503B- or 503XS)).
C Requires minimum grade of C.
XS Requires minimum grade of XS.
B- Requires minimum grade of B-.

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.

Enrollment is limited to Graduate, Non-Degree or Undergraduate level students.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
