Description: Focuses on expanding basic skills in American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf culture. Emphasizes development of expressive and receptive skills. Increases knowledge of ASL vocabulary and the syntax, semantics, and pragmatics of the language. Required prerequisite: EDSE 114
