The Early Childhood Education Program provides students with specialized knowledge around working with children from birth to third grade and their families, preparing graduates to create paths for success for children in the earliest years of their education.
This 15-credit minor provides undergraduates with important background knowledge in early childhood education for diverse learners and partially fulfills requirements for licensure in Early/Primary Education PreK-3 and Early Childhood Special Education in Virginia.
Where Will This Minor Take You?
Our graduates take their specialized skills to work in classroom and community-based settings.
