Prospective Student Information

Elementary Education Program

The Elementary Education Program has provided narrated power point presentations below for both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Prospective students are encouraged to watch these presentations, and then schedule an appointment with one or both of the pre-education advisors at Mason:

  • Prospective students who are unsure of which licensure program they want to pursue, and those who are considering doing a Bachelor’s to Accelerated Master’s (BAM) program, should meet with the Pre-Education Undergraduate Advisor.
  • All prospective students should meet with the Endorsement Advisor. Applicants to the graduate program (including the BAM) are required to create an endorsement account and have an official endorsement review in order to complete their graduate program application. Undergraduate students majoring in Elementary Education must also complete this endorsement review as part of the application to the major process that must be done by August 1, prior to the fall semester in which a student is ready to begin junior-level coursework.
