Schedule an Appointment
The best way to talk to the Content Area Advisor is to schedule an appointment. Until further notice, all appointments are being held by phone. Please note that the calendar is only open two weeks in advance. If you would like an appointment date more than two weeks in the future, please come back to schedule it when your desired date is within two weeks.
Prior to your initial advising appointment:
- Complete the Content Area Review online process at least two weeks prior to your appointment.
- Once you have created your form and entered your relevant course work, please email (email@example.com) or mail (see mailing address below) your transcripts to the Content Area Advisor for review. Transcripts must include grades for all course work.
Appointments with the Content Area Advisor are typically 30 minutes in length. During the advising appointment, we will assess your status regarding the completion of your content area prerequisites and begin to create a plan to fulfill the remaining requirements.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment:
Please do so as soon as possible so we may offer that time to another student. You may cancel or reschedule directly from your appointment confirmation e-mail if it is more than 24 hours prior to your appointment start time. Otherwise, please contact us via phone (703-993-2892) or e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule.
While we try to keep our calendars open so that students can meet with us as needed, we understand you may have a quick question or an urgent need. In that case, please call our office at 703-993-2892 to see if we have availability for a same-day appointment.
