Student Ambassadors
The Elementary Education (ELED) Ambassadors are student leaders who play a critical role in advancing the mission of the program by helping to build a stronger community among students, teacher candidates, mentor teachers, administrators, program faculty and staff, and alumni. They achieve this by serving as program representatives at various university and college events and by planning professional development and social events for their ELED peers each semester.

The ELED Ambassadors (back row) hosted an event on March 14th where recent program alumni talked with current students about their experiences and lessons learned from their first year of teaching. Panelists included, from left to right, Monica Davids (MEd, ’22), Lauren Ackerman (MEd, ’22), Federicka Algarme (MEd, ’23), and Cedric Price (MEd, ’22).
