Fall 2025 Course Information

Course: EDSE 540 [Characteristics of Students with Disabilities that Access the General Curriculum], section 695

Day: Wednesdays

Dates: 9/17/25 - 11/19/25

Times:  4:15 pm — 8:15 pm

Instructional Method: Hybrid — Mix of face-to-face meetings and online instruction. 

  • Dates of face-to-face meetings9/17; 9/24;10/15; 11/12
  • Dates of synchronous online video meetings: all other Wednesdays (9/17 — 11/19)
  • Additional Work: Asynchronous coursework will supplement weekly meetings.

Location of face-to-face meetings: Stone Bridge High School, Stone Bridge H.S. 43100 Hay Rd. Ashburn VA 20148

(2) Archer & Hughes. Explicit Instruction: Effective and efficient teaching. (1st ed.). 2010 Guilford Press. ISBN 9781609180416 (Chapters 1 – 3 ONLY)

Tuition: Payment will be due by 9/19/25

(Please note that the payment website will open two weeks before the tuition due date).

  • With 1-19 students, $1,920 (this includes 15% VA educator discount)
  • With 20+ students, $1,692(this includes 25% cohort discount)
