Spring 2 2024 Course Information:

Course: EDSE 643 [Instructional Strategies for Math], section 684

Day: Wednesdays
Dates: 3/6/24 - 5/8/24 (Spring break: 3/25 — 29)

Instructional Method:

  • Hybrid — Mix of face-to-face meetings and online instruction. See the face-to-face meeting dates below.  All other meeting dates will be synchronous online video meetings supplemented by asynchronous online coursework.
  • Please note that in-person field experience is required for this course.

Face-to-face in-person meetings: 3/6; 3/20; 4/24; 5/8

Online synchronous meeting: 4/17

Times:  5:15 pm — 9:45 pm

Location: Woodson High School; 9525 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22031; Room A127

It is expected that you attend all face-to-face sessions in person and participate in all scheduled synchronous online sessions as well.  If you do not feel you will be able to complete the requirements of the course, please speak with your advisor.

Course: EDSE 544 [Adapted Instructional Methods and Transition for Secondary Learners], section 684

Day: Wednesdays (class will meet synchronously every Wednesday)
Dates: 5/15/24 - 7/17/24 

Instructional Method:  Hybrid — Mix of synchronous meetings and asynchronous online instruction.

Times:  5:00 pm — 7:30 pm

It is expected that you attend all scheduled synchronous online sessions.  If you do not feel you will be able to complete the requirements of the course, please speak with your advisor.
