Note: The program described below has been approved by the Board of Visitors and sent to the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia for consideration as a new degree program. The university cannot accept applications or enroll students in this program until SCHEV approval has been granted.

This program is not currently accepting applicants. The program is available in a cohort format only in conjunction with school agencies wishing to further the skills of their teachers in this area.

Educators develop a deep level of knowledge in development, difficulties, assessment, instruction and progress monitoring for these students.

Delivery Format

This program is available in a cohort format and can be offered in conjunction with school agencies wishing to further the skills of their teachers in this area. Benefits of the cohort model include tuition discounts, convenient class locations, and modified schedules to accommodate school employee workdays.
